What do you like best about OneSignal?

OneSignal's documentation is among the best I have ever encountered. The user experience is elegant, up to date, and vast while remaining easy to find the answers you're looking for. The journey is succinct and logical thus keeping information overload and questions to a minimum. As a developer, the API documentation is by far the best I have ever used. What do you dislike about OneSignal?

What do you like best about OneSignal?

What I like most about OneSignal is how easy it is to get started while still being powerful enough for real projects. The setup is straightforward, even for a static website, and the dashboard is clean and intuitive.

Sending push notifications is quick, reliable, and doesn’t require constant backend work. For a site that depends on timely updates, this makes a huge difference in user engagement. What do you dislike about OneSignal?

What do you like best about OneSignal?

What do you dislike about OneSignal?

I have been using OneSignal for many years, primarily for push notifications. While they have kept push notifications free, there is now a limitation on the number of tags you can use. Over the years, this limit has been reduced to just two tags, whereas it used to be higher. If you decide to switch to a paid plan, OneSignal is more expensive for push notifications compared to some competitors. What do you like best about OneSignal?

I loved the ability of OneSignal to drive personalized customer engagement through targeted push notifications and in-app messaging. The platform's capacity for segmenting customer targeting across different platforms sounded very intriguing, offering a more personalized experience. This can greatly aid with segmentation, A/B testing, and overall personalization, backed by data, which ultimately could enhance retention rates, conversion rates, and the overall customer experience. Additionally, I appreciated the SMS marketing feature that allows the consumer to remain within the SMS environment when interacting with content, avoiding the annoying redirection to a website. I'm unsure about certain aspects since I haven't started using OneSignal actively. However, I am curious about how OneSignal might incorporate AI-driven targeting. This feature is becoming increasingly important and popular, especially within the fashion industry, which we are part of. The documentation can still be improved. Especially about the timing setting of the journeys, for example, if you set one notification is sent in a time frame, then you set wait for a day, what does a day mean? strictly 24hours? or the next calendar day according to user's time zone? What do you like best about OneSignal?

OneSignal has been a great ally in our communication strategies. In addition to using social media and email, we found in the push notifications and especially In-App features a powerful way to complement these channels and generate much more impact. What caught our attention the most was the efficiency of In-App messages: we can reach the user at the exact moment they are interacting with our app or site, significantly increasing engagement and retention rates. Push notifications also play an important role, but it was the In-App that really made a difference in how we connect with the audience.
